Clients who work with me consistently say these things about their lives: "I have better relationships [friendships, marriages/partnerships, and/or working relationships]", "I can feel okay on my own more often" [less addictive and avoidant behaviors], and "I am finding that the way I walk in the world feels more me".

Clients have also found that our relationship provides some solid ground upon which they can venture into difficult questions about their spirituality, sexuality, and family of origin issues thus inviting deeper exploration regarding their faith journeys and/or meaning-making.

When we choose to look at the truth of our stories, secrets, and parts of selves, it requires a good deal of courage because it can often feel like falling apart or grief before it feels like coming together or wholeness. It can be very helpful to have  a safe and confidential place to be honest, and to have someone who’s job it is to be well attuned to who you are and where you are. This is how I see my work as a therapist and consultant. I will work with you to understand your story, facilitate your desire to live out of wholeness more than brokenness, come alongside you as you endeavor to understand both the beauty and the darkness within your own story.  I do this for individuals, couples, and groups.

Growing up is difficult. Strangely, even when we have stopped growing physically, we seem to have to keep on growing emotionally which involves both expansion and shrinkage, as some parts of us develop and others must be allowed to disappear...

Rigidity never works; we end up being the wrong size for our world...

the finding/losing, forgetting/remembering, leaving/returning, never stops. The whole of life is about another chance, and while we are alive, till the very end, there is always another chance.
